Welcome, welcome, welcome to episode 218 of the Distraction Pieces Podcast with Scroobius Pip! A double edged sword, or double sided stamp, or two way street, however you want to look at it this week, as Pip is joined by comedian and actor Dan Skinner AKA Angelos Epithemiou!

Whether you know Dan for his acting work in ‘Notes On Blindness’ or ‘High Rise’ (or his solid filmography at that), or his fantastic comedy work in general, OR you know him from his alter ego Angelos Epithemiou who has been a regular in Vic & Bob’s ‘Shooting Stars’ for many years now, you will love this chat with he and Pip as they chat about it ALL! From Dan’s own comedy career and acting routes and paths, to the ever present spectre of the Edinburgh Fringe, to potentially unlikeable characters and how there is a huge power in them (and a heckle-proof suit of armour by default), Pip’s desire for his own on-stage sleight of hand and how Dan almost became a pro plate spinner, Dan’s wishes to be a comedy character actor, Angelos’ origin story, public appeal and how comedy doesn’t have many genres (unlike music), his work in ‘Notes On Blindness’ and a tangent about consumer convenience and just so much more. Seems a shame to spoil it here doesn’t it… Well you’d better stream / DL this one and get on it immediately eh!
