This week Pip is joined by commentator, activist and rapper LOWKEY!

This is Lowkey's second appearance on Distraction Pieces, in what feels right now like a section that ought to be there every episode. Lowkey is very well versed on matters involving Israel and Palestine and the situation past and present, so this episode was recorded a day before it was released to be as up to date as possible. Pip caught up with Lowkey at 10pm on a Monday, and if you heard his previous appearance, you'll know that this is the kind of episode where you'll almost want to keep a pen and pad nearby to take notes. Of course it's good to have a wide range of views and opinions, but it's fair to say that Lowkey has a very well informed and sharp understanding of history and a present awareness that not everyone does. So in a time where you can hear random unfiltered opinion (and often opinion which wasn't invited either), it's a relief to have some sane, balanced and calm tones to hear on what's going on. Let's leave it to the episode to speak for itself but definitely give this one some time and attention, and by all means share far and wide.
