Virtual Vestibular Conference Day 4

The Vestibular Disorders Association (VEDA) is hosting their first ever Virtual Vestibular Conference! Dr. Danielle Tate, PT and Dr. Abbie Ross, PT, NCS are your hosts/moderators for the week. Today's talk was about Persistent Postural Perceptual Dizziness (PPPD) and was presented by Dr. Janene Holmberg PT, DPT, NCS.

Persistent Postural Perceptual Dizziness (PPPD) is being increasingly used to explain vestibular symptoms without an obvious cause. Many patients are confused about this diagnosis – is it a physiological or psychological condition? Will I ever get better? In the session we touched on some things to help you better understand what PPPD is and isn't, how it is diagnosed and treated, and what outcomes you can expect from treatment.
