Master Barber to SMP Artist - Feat. Taylor Perry

Taylor Perry, a Miami native who grew up in East Hollywood began his journey cutting hair for his neighborhood in the 7th grade. From cuts, to fades, to edge work Perry quickly fell in love with his art and the neighborhood fell in love with Taylor. At the early age of 15, Taylor was offered a full time position as a Barber in his local Barber Shop.

Several years later a regular client of Taylor's came for a cut and told him that he had gotten his scalp tattooed, creating the illusion of a shaved head. This was Taylor’s first encounter with SMP and certainly not his last. From that day forward Taylor knew he had a run in with destiny and began practicing on his own thigh with a needle and ink to find the perfect needle size for scalp pigmentation. That artwork still lives on his thigh today as a reminder of where he came from. To this day Taylor remains to be booked months in advance. SMP is not only tattoo art but it’s a lifestyle that Taylor himself has seen bring his clients to tears of joy when they see the final result.

After seeing how much SMP has changed the lives of everyone he has come in contact with, Taylor knew he could no longer keep this to himself. He offers a hands on training program where he teaches his technique to other passionate people using live models. The one of a kind training program includes all supplies, equipment, lifetime support and coaching from Taylor himself.
