How to tell your story Episode #293

Have you been itching to tell your story?

Sharing can be as simple as just telling someone that you trust.

If you feel a calling to go bigger join Toastmasters, FB LIGHTbeamers there is a page and free Community for tips and techniques for sharing.

Reach out to groups, schools, or organizations.

There is also the virtual world! Find and follow people and podcasts that resonate with you or that are similar to your story.

Grab some paper and brainstorm experiences that you had to get topic ideas! It doesn't need to be related to abuse.

*Did you battle a chronic illness or life threatening dis-ease?

*Did you lose someone close to you and had to pick up the pieces?

*Do you have Motherhood ideas or time management suggestions? Or perhaps you are starting over with a vastly different career. There are treasure troves of speaking ideas you can use!

Keep paper and pen with you to jot down thoughts.

Maybe you want to start a YouTube channel, blog or podcast! Don't afraid to reach out to those already doing this for support and some may have coaching programs you can purchase!

Just a warning... There may be people that deny your story or say you are making it up. Don't use names for legal reasons unless you have permission. This could set you up for a lawsuit.
