The Emotional Wheel and how to use it

The Emotional Wheel and how to use it

Give yourself an "honest" assessment. Our body is taking in lots of information all the time. It's subconsciously keeping you are safe but you may be experiencing stress or other feelings.

This wheel has 6 core feelings and further breaks down other emotions to describe what you are experiencing. If you are used to saying "I'm fine." or "I'm great!" use this to really dig into truer feelings. You can create a journal prompt using this wheel as well. As an example: "I'm feeling ... and yesterday I felt ..."

You can even break this down further by looking at your core feeling, compare the feelings, and you may even find more than 1 or 2 words to describe your what you are feeling. This challenge is to help you begin to bring self-awareness on your healing journey.
