71. Real Men Do Pilates, with Martin Reid, Cloe Bunter, and Raphael Bender

Pilates is for everybody… So where are all the men?! We challenge the Pilates paradigm today and explore how to make Pilates more welcoming to men- and everyone!

--------------------------------

About Martin Reid:

Martin is a Movement Specialist who has worked as a fitness trainer, worldwide speaker, and fitness model in the big-box and boutique fitness spaces since 2002. Martin earned his first Pilates certification in 2008 and has since continued to hone his skills. Martin realized the benefits of a consistent Pilates practice for his professional and everyday athletes after earning a complete Pilates certification with Peak Pilates in 2014. Martin began a 600-hour apprenticeship in 2019 after being inspired to learn more about Joseph Pilates' original name for the technique, Contrology, and the influence it can have on men's health. To underscore his case, he uses the hashtag #realmendopilates on social media.

Martin launched two enterprises in July 2020: Reid Method Pilates Studio, a micro business within the Reid Method Pilates Studio; and Reid Method Pilates Studio, a micro business within the Reid Method Pilates Studio.
