S2E7: Amanda Knox: Her wrongful arrest, acquittal, and overcoming

We feel so honored we got to meet the incredible Amanda Knox! The world knows her story but we got the privilege to sit down with her and hear HER story. Her story of overcoming, of speaking her truth, of overcoming trauma, her purpose, and passion for being an activist, writer, and mother. The world followed her case in 2007 and now we get to hear her truth. Amanda experienced a living nightmare when she was , wrongfully accused and convicted of killing her roommate, Meredith Kercher, while studying aboard in 2007. After being arrested, in a different country, scored by the media, and coerced by law enforcement, she was wrongfully found guilty and spent 4 years in an Italian prison before her exoneration.

As we sit down with her, she tells us about the day after Meredith’s murder, days leading up to the events, what It was like in an Italian prison, days and years after, how the media twisted the narrative, undisclosed evidence, life after exoneration, her husband now and life today, how she advocates for women, her Podcast labyrinth ( check it out! ), and being a new mother!

Amanda is now an author, activist, and journalist. She is doing incredible things, recently welcomed a daughter with her husband Chris, and they have a wildly interesting new podcast called Labyrinths.
