Last year, Jessie’s good friend Matt was diagnosed with stage 3 bowel cancer. On the 3rd of May, exactly a year on from when he was diagnosed with stage 3 Bowel Cancer at the age of 36. Matt will be running 45kms a day for 12 days to create more awareness around Bowel Cancer, especially in young people, as every health professional he spoke to across his journey told him that he was too young to have Bowel Cancer. His goal is to raise $20,000 to raise awareness around bowel cancer and get ten age of free testing kits and screening reduced to 25!
