Episode #8 Event Security with Adrianne Wynne

Adrianne Wynne is the Sr. Director of Event Security at Chase Center, a state-of-the-art sports and entertainment arena in San Francisco, CA. It is home to the Golden State Warriors, concerts, special events, and recently named Sports Facility of the Year by The Sports Business Journal. Adrianne manages the event security and medical teams and a full-time event security manager.

Adrianne became interested in working in sports and entertainment while interning for the Public Relations Department at Madison Square Garden. After graduating from college, she worked as a sales assistant at WWPR-FM/ Power 105.1FM in New York City. After working in radio for several years, she decided to return to the sports and entertainment business. AEG, one of the leading sports and entertainment companies globally, hired her to work at Prudential Center three weeks before it opened to the public. At the time of its opening, Prudential Center was the first major league sports venue built in the New York metropolitan area since the Brendan Byrne Arena, which opened in 1981. In less than four months of her initial hire date, she got promoted from Assistant Manager of Premium Services to Manager of Premium Services. Two years later, she was hired by Devils Arena Entertainment to hire, train, and supervise all guest services staff at Prudential Center. Within three years of working at Prudential Center, she was promoted to Director of Guest Services, overseeing the Guest Services Manager, Premium Services Manager, and a team of more than 200 guest services employees. Madison Square Garden then hired her as the Guest Experience Manager. Within a year, she got promoted to a Security & Guest Services Event Manager. She managed a team of over 400 event security and guest services employees for MSG events and the Hulu Theater. She left as the Acting Director of Event Security.
