Delve into the dark and disturbing TRUE history of haunted asylums in this chilling video. Learn about the eerie past of these mysterious institutions. Treatment of patients in old asylums was horrendous. That is why they are so scary in movies and video games, but also why they are so haunted in real life. Most Asylums became what can only be described as horror hospitals. And that is one of the reasons why so many of them are haunted. What historical circumstances led to the torment of so many human beings who just needed help? Today we will be delving into this dark chapter of history of what happened inside these institutions and then we will get into why so many are haunted.
