Weightlifting on the Big Screen with Adam Scheiner

Adam Scheiner is the Writer and Director of an upcoming sports feature film, “The Weight”. The story centers around a broken down weightlifter trying to fulfill a promise to compete in the Olympics. In today’s episode Adam shares some of the hurdles they are facing in finding funding for the film, as well as talks us through the story of ultimately deciding to cast an actual weightlifter as the main character. We’re beyond excited to have our sport finally making its way to the big screen, and we’re excited for you to hear all the behind the scenes details of the film. Enjoy the show.
