The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time- an Audiobook- Prologue

Based on The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time by Nintendo, this 61 chapter novelization is brought to you in audiobook form. This project was launched to celebrate 20 years of this beloved classic and to pay tribute to a franchise that has endured for decades.

Note: Please see my YouTube channel DragonRand100 Audiobooks regarding the recent music take down requests. Most of the music will be removed over time, if not all of it, due to a recent change in usage policy by Spotify. YouTube is currently not affected (it just has ads).

This project featuring a cast of narrators, one for each POV character. Fans of Zelda Universe’s Zelda dubs may recognize a couple of the voice actors.

Also, in response to some consistent listener complaints, I do apologize if the repeats in some chapters have been a sore point for you, I am attempting to address this issue. This will take time (no pun intended), but I will fix it. Please be patient. Given that this audiobook is 60 hours long editing post-production is no small process. Fortunately, or maybe not so, fortunately, with lockdown continuing, I may have more time on my hands to fix the problem.

NB: This mostly applies to the earliest episodes in this podcast. I know that the audio glitches in these chapters have been causing a bit of contention, and I have been doing my best to fix them, however, should you notice something amiss, feel free to let me know, and I will do what I can to correct it (within reason). Please be specific, so that I can locate the problem and fix the issue.

Also, regarding the inconsistent pronunciation, and I'm sure many of you are aware of this, please keep in mind that until the last decade, canon pronunciation was not a big thing in the Zelda franchise. Until then, everyone has been coming up with their own pronunciation which they’ve been using for years, a habit that proved very hard for everyone to break during production. I did have my boundaries on what was acceptable during the audition process. That said, this production has been a long learning process on making audiobooks, and I'll be working on that in future episodes.
