Will and I will look at the French Revolution and what role the Church had in the Revolution. This is a more complicated topic that it appears. There was fabulously wealthy clergy and poor clergy. There was up and coming clergy and there were entrenched clergy. Each of these groups had their own incentives and goals. Let’s explore them.
