Episode #8: Surabhi Lal on Belonging

Episode #8: Surabhi Lal on Belonging

Surabhi Lal is an adjunct professor of Public Service at the Wagner School of Public Service at NYU, has her own consulting company, and is a certified leadership coach. She is also pursuing her doctorate in Leadership and Change at Antioch University, with a focus on understanding how we can cultivate a sense of belonging in the workplace.

In this conversation, we discuss the challenges of dealing with the imposter syndrome, how to balance humility and ambition, and why inner development is important. I appreciate the skillful way that Surabhi weaves together her professional expertise with stories about her own life experiences.
