The 999 Operator would never forget the call. The man was desperately trying to explain what had happened and where he was. The operator said: "I'm going to need a better location than that." To which the man replies "But there's a train coming."

The 999 operator screams out: "Oh my God!" as the man swears, unable to comprehend quite what he is seeing. The screeching of brakes can be heard as the man tells the operator the train has "gone straight through my Land Rover". Moments later he speaks again: "I just got out in time as the train came through. Someone is going to get killed...
