The following day, she returned to Richard’s home with his family—only to find his roommate, Nicholas, behaving unusually and doing everything he could to keep them from going upstairs. Nicholas had been living with Richard for about a year after being offered support during a difficult time, but things had clearly taken a turn. As suspicions grew and law enforcement became more involved, unsettling signs began to emerge. What was discovered inside the home pointed to a deeply troubling situation.

Nicholas was taken into custody and charged with a serious offense, with bail set at $2 million. His court date was scheduled, but one haunting question remains: if you can’t trust a friend of many years, who can you trust?
