REAL ID is HERE

Wednesday is the REAL ID deadline and if you don’t have yours yet, do us a favor and don’t go to the airport! I’m Tomi Lahren, more next. Wednesday May 7th is the day that’s been pushed back for over 5 years. The REAL ID deadline goes into effect. The deadline to be REAL ID compliant has been pushed back FOUR TIMES SO FAR! In most states all you had to do to get one is show proof of US citizenship, a social security card, and two proofs of residency like a utility bill, pay stub or current bank statement. Most of us have had the REAL ID for years now and didn’t even know it. But now people are panicking because they won’t be able to board a domestic flight without it starting this week. Important to note you can also show a passport, so don’t freak out! I already know this is gonna cause a major headache at the TSA line and a needless headache at that. So as someone who travels weekly I beg you, if you haven’t made the time in FIVE YEARS to get the REAL ID, please don’t go to the airport and try to fly without it.
