Welcome to episode 178 On today's show we talk about Tires What is tire wear and what should it be? A quick internet search will bring up two magic numbers... 3,700 and 1,800. Those are the numbers that RideApart.com claims as the miles that your front and rear tire should be replaced at, respectively. In my opinion, that is utter bullshine! Yet these numbers are repeated ad nauseum across the internet by other sources who don't have their own opinion or are too lazy to do the research. We talk with MPC winner (for Creative Riding) Bri Van Morrison Abernathy Artemus Maximus Vifferious about tires that he has used over the years on his 200,000+ mile VFR750F. Jae also weighs in, as her MPC was cut short due to a tire 'cording' . After the break we'll get into some MPC data.
