E38 – Launching into your full potential with Brett Harmeling

E38: Interview with Brett Harmeling

Brett is a husband, father, serial entrepreneur, philanthropist, investor, Rice University MBA graduate and airline executive and in this episode, we talked about the importance of launching into your full potential. This potential can be reached in all areas of leadership in life including physical, mental, emotional and psychological. Brett speaks about leadership as being an honour, not a right and that it is about action, not holding a title or position. When we consider this, then it is easy to see that striving to be the best versions of ourselves allows us to put ourselves in a position better suited to launching others into their full potential.

Brett also touched on the need for polarity in our lives and leadership journey and how the power of proximity can be used to help us make a conscious decision in selecting those key people that we surround ourselves with. We also spoke a little about energy and how it is important to get ourselves into the right state so that we effectively tap into our ability to choose how we show up and what we attract into our lives. They key message that stuck out to me from the interview with Brett was 'the world needs what you got' so it is important for us to find things that we are passionate about because the biggest super power we can showcase as a human is demonstrated when 'you are being more you' when interacting with the world around you.
