Aston Villa continued their impressive home form, making it 14 consecutive league wins at Villa Park by beating Manchester City 1-0 to leapfrog their opponents into third in the table. Jamie O'Hara and Dean Saunders discussed whether Villa are genuine title contenders. Elsewhere, there were wins for Brighton, Bournemouth and Liverpool, whilst Nottingham Forest suffered a heavy defeat away at Fulham to increase the pressure on manager Steve Cooper.
