17 Real leadership shows in hard times with Jenifer Rash

Jennifer Rash serves as president and editor-in-chief of The Alabama Baptist newspaper and overall social media group known as TAB Media. The Alabama Baptist is the largest circulated state Baptist newsletter in the nation and the second-largest top-circulates newspaper in the state. Jennifer is an accomplished investigating reporter, photographer, and has won awards for her digital broadcasting, radio and podcast work.

In today's episode of Small Time Leaders, Jennifer Rash shares how Dr. Bob Terry took a leap of faith by offering her a full-time position as an entry-level news writer. Under Dr. Terry's guidance, she grew her confidence and learned the fundamentals of the field. After an unfortunate event and an emergency in the workplace Dr. Terry found Jennifer showing true leadership and presidential skills, and she did that by applying all the lessons and knowledge she had learned from him.

Jennifer is very passionate about helping the community, that being a board member of Associated Church Press, the planning committee of RCCongress, treasure, coordinator of former Birmingham chapter of Religion Communicators Council and member of Public Affairs Research Council of Alabama. Before starting her career journey at The Alabama Baptist Jenifer also dedicated two years of her life to volunteer at Caribbean Christian Publications (CCP) and the Caribbean Baptist Fellowship Media Center.
