57 The Art of Asking the Right Questions with David Fleming

David Fleming is President and CEO of REV Birmingham, which formed in 2012 through the strategic merger of Operation New Birmingham and Main Street Birmingham. REV creates vibrant commercial districts in Birmingham's City Center historic neighborhoods.

In today's episode of Small-Time Leaders, David shares with us a life lesson the Former Governor of Alabama, Albert Brewer, taught him. While still in college deciding to make a career life decision Albert was able to help David clear his professional vision by asking the right questions to him.

David's passion for city building and historic preservation has influenced his civic engagement in past roles such as Chairman of the Birmingham Planning Commission, a member of the Metropolitan Planning Organization, and an officer in a neighborhood association. He is currently on the Board of Directors for the Advent Episcopal School and the Jefferson County Historical Association. The Birmingham Business Journal has recognized him as a Top 40 under 40 awardee and repeatedly as one of the City's most influential Executives.
