The Devil with Leeza Robertson

What are we all doing down here anyway? Are we here to indulge our senses with wine and song and sexy woodland creatures? Or are we meant to suffer? It might surprise you to hear our guest for episode 16, author, deck creator, and closeted astrologer Leeza Robertson, explain why she thinks The Devil is the most spiritual card in the deck, and how it offers us a uniquely powerful path to joy and liberation. Leeza describes how she illustrates The Devil in four of her decks, each one highlighting a different aspect for us to consider. We chat about Pan and the edges of madness; accepting our physical self as divine; and the narrow line we walk as we navigate our way through society and our mind. We talk addiction and attachment, The Lovers and relationships, and discover that maybe the truly tricky thing is that The Devil doesn't curate our lives — which offers us a freedom that we have to learn how to deal with. The Hebrew letter Ayin gives us some new insights, and we take a deep dive into the Shadow, the ego, and duality of the 'I'. Leeza is the author of Tarot Reversals for Beginners and she gives us some brilliant new tips on how we can read the cards that come out upside-down, explaining why reversals add so much to a reading.
