Closing the 18-Inch Gap Podcast-EP056: How To CRUISE To Success Starting Today!

Closing the 18-Inch Gap Podcast-EP056: How To CRUISE To Success Starting Today!

Let me ask you something, are you steering your ship or just riding the waves? This is going to make more sense as I introduced today's current podcast episode.

Everybody wants to be successful. But how are you getting there? Too many people take the easy way out. They don't want to do the work. They don't want to make the effort. They seek what's called the overnight success. Or what seems to look like an overnight success. But the reality is that there is no overnight success.

Success comes after hard work coming to fruition. Seth Godin a very well-known and popular author was considered an overnight success by many. But he clearly states it took him 15 years of nonstop work of putting information in the form of a blog, writing books, speaking, doing many things over many years to suddenly become successful.

The only place where success comes before work is in a dictionary. That's it. But what if you had a way that you could cruise to success? When I say cruise, I'm not saying it is good to be easy, far from it.

Instead, it's a method, if you will, that I came across from another fellow coach named Dr. Chitra Sankaran and you can find Dr. Chitra Sankaran at www.drchitrasankaran.com.

So, what Dr. Chitra has provided for us is a framework of how to map this out and it spells out cruise. I will be going through each one but I'll be adding my point of view of what you can do at each step. The total of six of them.

Quote of the week: "The ladder of success is never crowded at the top." Napoleon Hill

Points covered:

C- Create, a clear vision for the future

R- Review, one's current circumstances

U- Uncover internal resources/renewed energy

I-Identify, anchors and stabilizing factors

S- Set sail, launch and go

E- Enjoy, and brace the journey and rewards

and that my friend is a CRUISE framework. It can be easily applied to any situation would be in.
