How Fundraising Challenges Helped One Family Get Through Treatment And Lockdown

Today you’re hearing from Dominique. She got a text message from her mum in September 2020 telling her “please don’t panic…” which is hard not to do when your mum is in Scotland and you’re in the middle of a very strict lockdown in Australia.

Dominique’s mum was diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer and in this episode you’ll hear how Dominique needed federal clearance to get back home, how the pair of them got through the Scottish lockdown and recovery from the Whipple Operation by doing fundraising challenges.

And most importantly how early diagnosis means Dominiques mum is still doing well today!
