Collaboration to Enable Change

The newly formed merged entity of ANglia Ruskin University and Writtle University College will embody a blend of tradition and modernity. The rich heritage and expertise of Writtle University College will combine with the cutting-edge resources and facilities of Anglia Ruskin University, creating a vibrant hub of learning and discovery. The campuses of both institutions will serve as the foundation for a unified and collaborative environment, fostering a sense of community and shared purpose among students, faculty, and industry partners.

One of the primary goals of this merger is to attract businesses that can engage across the research base with a focus on food systems, particularly in the realm of agritech. We are seeking partnerships with businesses that are driven by a commitment to sustainability, technological advancement, and the enhancement of agricultural practices that can have real world impacts and create value. The ideal businesses for engagement are those that are dedicated to leveraging cutting-edge technologies and scientific advancements to optimise crop production, improve resource efficiency, and mitigate environmental impact.

This episode forms part of our Back to the Future project, for Agri-TechE's 10th birthday celebrations.
