BONUS: Our Young Men Are Struggling - A Look Into 'ADOLESCENCE' on Netflix

On today's episode of "Harder to Breathe'', host, founding drummer of "Maroon 5", and licensed therapist, Ryan Dusick is joined by co-host and actor Brian "Duck" Maillard for a quick conversation surrounding Netflix's hit psychological drama, "Adolescence".

The mini series is a technical marvel– comprised of 4 episodes that each utilize just a single continuous take to capture all the action. It's a remarkable feat of filmmaking, but what's even more impressive is the heart of the story that's being told underneath– a story that touches on immense themes surrounding the psychology of growing up in today's world.

"Adolescence" struck such a chord with Duck that he made sure to recommend it to Ryan ASAP. Ryan listened, and now, through their conversation, he gives us a deeper understanding on what the characters are going through– directly from a therapist's perspective. Having had several clients who have dealt with similar issues in the past, Ryan has experienced the questions that "Adolescence" presents to the audience firsthand. They are very real, and the show does a great job of shining a spotlight on issues that children are facing today.
