Athens-Clarke County is contemplating the introduction of a 'Voluntary Residential Traffic Management Process.' This innovative proposal would allow residents to collectively finance traffic improvements in their neighborhoods, with the county thereafter assuming responsibility for maintenance.

A concerning study from the University of Georgia has unveiled a significant rise in suicide rates among Black male adolescents and young adults. This alarming trend calls for an urgent need to destigmatize mental health conversations within the Black community.
