CCR 076: Quantum Creation with Josh Peck

SCIENCE AND RELIGION have appeared to be at odds for the better part of two centuries. But is there really a divide, or is such a notion illusory? Robert Jastrow, an American astronomer, physicist, cosmologist, and one of NASA’s leading scientists and futurists once stated, “For the scientist who has lived by his faith in the power of reason, the story ends like a bad dream. He has scaled the mountain of ignorance; he is about to conquer the highest peak; as he pulls himself over the final rock, he is greeted by a band of theologians who have been sitting there for centuries.” The reality is that the Bible, while not a science book, did speak many truths into the nature of creation.

In this episode, Josh Peck returns to talk about his new book, Quantum Creation: Does the Supernatural Lurk in the Fourth Dimension. One of the strangest phenomena discussed and observed in science is that of Quantum Physics. The mysterious properties of the world of Quanta have sparked numerous esoteric and occult derivations in an attempt to describe the nature of reality. Meanwhile, Christians who have discussed the issue and have tried to display the truth of God’s fingerprints all over the world of Quantum Creation often are labelled heretical for even trying to reconcile the two fields of study. It takes a brave soul to tackle this issue and that’s exactly what Josh Peck has done with Quantum Creation. While exploring the topic, Josh discovered that there are many instances where main stream films and explanations adopt a gnostic perspective in an attempt to explain the strange phenomena, while completely ignoring Biblical passages that fit the observable evidence.
