WHO ARE ANGELS IN THE BIBLE REALLY?

For as long as many of us can remember, angels have been depicted as humanoid beings with one distinguishing factor; wings. From ancient paintings and sculptures to modern blockbuster films out of Hollywood, this image of an angel is often associated with the Biblical account of God’s heavenly host. But how much of it is actually true? How do the Biblical authors ACTUALLY talk about the appearance and interactions of angels? And most importantly, what does it have to do with us, right here, right now?

This fundamental connection between angels and our identity in Christ is often obscured and confused by mythology. But it is foundational to how we as Christians should be thinking about ourselves, and about our fellow human beings, as it properly provides a cohesive Biblical framework by which we can apply to our lives.
