WHAT IS AN ALBUM PIN?

An album pin is a lapel pin with artwork inspired by a specific album or song from an album. It could be the actual album artwork or it could be inspired by a specific track on the album.

The best album pins stand out on their own. They appeal to more than just your fans. It is simple, bold, and visually engaging. However, what truly makes it an "album pin" is that the purchaser also gets a digital album with their pin.

I have an entire blog on my website with details including templates for you to make your own album pin jacket.

TRAVEL WITH CELTIC INVASION VACATIONS

Every year, I take a small group of Celtic music fans on the relaxing adventure of a lifetime. We don't see everything. Instead, we stay in one area. We get to know the region through its culture, history, and legends. You can join us with an auditory and visual adventure through podcasts and videos.

In 2026, we're traveling to the Celtic nation of Galicia in Spain.

We'll dive deep into the history and legends of the Galician Celts, uncovering their connections to Ireland, Scotland, and beyond. We'll walk the same lands where Celtic warriors once roamed, hear the myths passed down through generations, and experience the magic of authentic Galician Celtic music, alive with passion and history.

This isn't just a trip—it's a journey into the heart of a Celtic culture unlike any other. Will you join us?

Cheryl Arvio emailed photos from Chicago: "Hi Marc, We kicked off St. Patrick's season at Chicago's Irish American Heritage Center with a concert in the Fifth Province pub. Derek Warfield and the Young Wolfe Tones were fabulous as always, joined by special guests the Trinity Irish Dancers and Chicago Garda Pipes and Drums. What a great evening! Here are a few pics. Have a great St. Patrick's Day/birthday!"

Shel O'Toole emailed a photo: "Hi Marc, I'm finalising a set list for my upcoming concert at Cresfest, a folk and roots festival held in Creswick Victoria Australia each April.

Skedaddle, the trio I play in, are doing a short gig on Sunday 16th at the Uniting Church in Buninyong, a village just outside Ballarat. The focus is songs that reflect Celtic spirituality.

Thanks as always for the weekly feast of music. Regards"

Patrick Rieger emailed a photo: "Hi Marc, My Saint Patrick's Day observation started a few days early. My family and I were joined by a friend at Mullaney's Harp & FIddle the Wednesday before, thus avoiding the crowds. Our friend John McCann had a solo show that evening, and as always he did a great job.

The day of the Holiday was mostly what I had said before, staying home to listen to music and avoiding the madness anywhere it was being celebrated. After my family was done with school and work, we went to the cemetery to visit my mom, who I am named after. She loved Saint Patrick's Day and being of Irish heritage. We lit her memorial candle, which has a green transparent insert, and played a few Irish songs from the music library on my phone. I wish she was here to see all of the ways the family and I are involved in the Irish community.
