Ross Rossin + Ambassador Andrew Young

Ross Rossin + Ambassador Andrew Young

This Creativity Conversation podcast audio is pulled and edited down from the live Rosemary Magee Creativity Conversation "Ultimately Human: Ross Rossin and Ambassador Andrew Young."

It was an intimate conversation between Ross Rossin, a world-renowned portrait artist and Ambassador Young, a revered civil rights leader and statesman. Rossin displayed numerous extraordinary portraits onstage while he and Ambassador Young used them to reflect on questions of identity, how it informs our view about others, the creative process, artistic meaning, and the beauty in diversity. The program also featured poet and spoken word performer Tavares Stephens and cellist/filmmaker Okorie Johnson.

This Rosemary Magee Creativity Conversation is part of the Schwartz Foundation Artist-in-Residence Program and was made possible with the sponsorship of the Emory’s Center for Ethics, the Emory Integrity Project, and the Ethics and the Arts Program.

Turner Classic Movies is the exclusive corporate sponsor of this event and is a corporate partner of the Ethics and the Arts Program at Emory’s Center for Ethics.
