Art in Action interview - León De la Rosa-Carrillo on cross border art practices in Ciudad Juárez

On the July, 2025 edition of the Art in Action interview series I highlight the work of artist and curator León De la Rosa-Carrillo who speaks on creating projects that address the persisting colonial dynamics and political imaginaries that surround the Mexico / U.S. colonial border line. In this interview León speaks on creating community based artistic spaces that address the ways that the borderline impacts Mexican artists and communities within the border region. León is a professor in the Art Department at Universidad Autónoma de Ciudad Juárez.
