The Value of Learning on the Job with Steve Beckley

With an extensive career in the energy sector, my latest guest has a wealth of experience building, leading, and advising private and public companies on key Treasury responsibilities.

Steve Beckley, Former Assistant Treasurer at Strike LLC., has many insights into the Treasury related challenges he faced in his roles as he progressed in his Treasury career. We discuss the oil and gas industry in particular and evaluate whether or not industry experience is a relevant prerequisite to being hired in a Treasury role.
