Nico Hulkenberg’s podium at Silverstone signals a major shift for Sauber in their final year before Audi sticks its badge on it properly. Could you call 2025 its first season since they own this team 100%? Anyway! Jonathan Wheatley’s calm leadership and Mattia Binotto’s quiet oversight has clearly done something for the better after a year of mishaps and political drama. As a result, we've got ourselves a team who has a lot going for them, drivers Nico and Gabriel Bortoleto thriving as a partnership AND the Audi/Qatari investors very much liking what they are seeing with the upgrades brought in and increase in performance overall.

This is no longer a fluke, my friend. What we are seeing in a team which is looking quite prepared for 2026...and Red Bull and Carlos Sainz must be kicking themselves right now.
