We dig into what happens once someone fully identifies with incel ideology: how their thinking gets reinforced by online groups, how entitlement and resentment are amplified, and why traditional therapy doesn’t always break through. Shavaun walks us through what treatment might look like—if it happens early enough—and what signs suggest there’s still a way back.

We also talk about the limitations. Some incels don’t want to change. Some use the language of therapy as a shield without engaging in real self-reflection. So what does successful intervention actually look like? And how do we support people who are on the edge of radicalization but not quite lost yet?

This episode isn’t just about mental health—it’s about hope, responsibility, and the question of whether society is equipped to interrupt this dangerous spiral before it leads to violence.
