World Cup power play: CazéTV ups the stakes

Welcome to The SportBusiness Podcast, getting you informed on the biggest stories in the global sports industry.

This week, Martin Ross and Jonathan Rest take a deep dive into CazéTV, the Brazilian sports streamer, which burst onto the scene with record-breaking coverage of the 2022 FIFA World Cup and will now show all 104 matches in next year’s tournament.

Then Matthew Williams joins in to shed light on the plight of English Championship and Premier League clubs as they scramble to fill the gap from the ban on front-of-shirt gambling sponsorships.

Finally, Martin and Jon weigh in on the sports streaming sector’s ‘worst-kept’ secret, as Delatre reveals that it is set to acquire Endeavour Streaming.
