KEY TAKEAWAYS To get ahead and use true preventive medicine, hormones should be checked once a year up to the age of about 40, and then twice a year from then on. NAD plays hugely critical roles within our physical make up. It's a big part of our energy production, and without NAD, our mitochondrial pathway would not work. Fasting can be classified into two groups - intermittent fasting is any fast below two days, and prolonged fasting which is any fast that goes above two days. In the small amount of research that is out there on postmenopausal women and exercise fasting is not recommended.
