He made the decision to pursue music when he realized that his dreams of being an illustrator may not add up to what he wanted to be. He talks about grinding for years working random jobs in Nashville until he finally landed a publishing deal and started to get his songs recorded by Kenny Chensey and Sam Hunt. He talks about the dynamic of the band, how they formed and to which they owe their success.
