You’re Not Crazy, You’re Remembering: Healing Through Spiritual Awakening and Somatic Work with Gabriella Cacciatore

You’re Not Crazy, You’re Remembering: Healing Through Spiritual Awakening and Somatic Work with Gabriella Cacciatore

What does it look like to actually heal through the body? Most of the time people don't even touch into their body—they're just in their head and that's how they're living.

Today, I sit down with trauma coach, spiritual mentor, and author Gabriella Cacciatore to explore how entrepreneurs might be unconsciously running their businesses from unprocessed trauma.

Gabriella is the author of "Unbroken," a raw memoir about surviving childhood sexual abuse, remembering repressed trauma, and healing through the body. She helps survivors connect to their truth through somatic work, nervous system regulation, and emotional integration. Her work is raw, real, and rooted in deep lived experience—she's not here to sugarcoat healing.

What We Talked About

  • How to ground yourself using your five senses in everyday moments
  • The terrifying yet liberating experience of repressed memories surfacing
  • Why entrepreneurs often run businesses from a nervous system stuck in survival mode
  • Simple workplace practices for processing emotions (including color-association exercises)
  • The difference between talking about trauma and truly embodying the healing process
  • How to rebuild self-trust when you've lost it through small, consistent promises
  • The connection between spiritual awakening and trauma healing
  • Why "healing is not from a healer, healing is from yourself"

About Gabriella's Book "Unbroken"

Launching August 18th, "Unbroken" takes readers through trauma, healing, and reclamation in three parts. It's for anyone who's experienced trauma and feels like they can't come out of it—showing that there is life, hope, and joy after trauma.

If I Was Starting Over…

As the year is starting, let’s talk about what I would do if I was truly starting over. I talk about some mistakes that I’ve made in the past, some time wasters, some opportunities I missed out on, and some things I could have done better. No regrets here, just all lessons. Hope you like it! Over fifteen years in business, over thirty countries visited, over a dozen heartaches, over  here’s something to show for it.

Stress Management for Founders and Entrepreneurs with Kelsey March

Stress Management for Founders and Entrepreneurs with Kelsey March

Let's face it -- the main reason why most people are not entrepreneurs is because the level of pressure, optimism, and hard work are different. The demands and expectations are different. For those who see the rewards to be "worth it", they choose this path and do what it takes. So where does that leave us, entrepreneurs? Usually, in a cocktail of stress and exhaustion, especially if you're starting out. (Unless you outsource and get the right support.... *wink wink*)Listen in as Kelsey and I discuss the basics of stress management for Founders, mental strength, nervous system regulation, and the best habits for a stress-free life. Kelsey helps 6 and 7 figure entrepreneurs streamline their operations and provide ease and support for their life decisions. Something like a business and life coach in one! Let's Talk About Passport Bros and Where Feminism Failed with Steve Didier

Let's Talk About Passport Bros and Where Feminism Failed with Steve Didier

This has been a conversation I've always wanted to have! A few weeks ago, I discovered "passport bros", defined in Urban Dictionary as "men* who have chosen to seek out foreign women, typically from other countries, for relationships. They believe that western women have been influenced by cultural and societal pressures to behave in a certain way, and that by seeking out foreign women, they can find a more authentic, fulfilling, and harmonious relationship. This is seen as a way to restore the natural balance between masculine and feminine energy, and to avoid the "wickedness" of western women."*Mostly referring to American menDefinitely very fascinating, and I wanted to talk to one who went through a meaningful reflection process before just colloquially identifiying as one.Steve, a successful Founder and entrepreneur with a thriving location independent business and investments, sat with me to talk about his experience with women, why he prefers dating women abroad, and personal stories of how he saw women around him change as the years went by. One of the highlights of this conversation was how feminism morphed its meaning throughout the years. Maybe it's a branding issue, maybe it's a reflection of culture. And how THIS, contributed to the rise of "passport bros". Listen with an open mind....and an open bag of Doritos.
