In this radiant episode, I’m joined by Karen Chen—a proud Chinese-American creative force whose story is just getting started. She’s an MIT grad turned LA-based actress and screenwriter, chasing dreams with grit, gratitude, and that signature joy we all need more of.

🎥 Her latest win? Co-writing a powerful short film about a friendship breakup with our good friend Leo, who joined us back in Episode 31! The film just wrapped production and is headed into post—big things are brewing 👀

Fun fact: Karen didn’t always see herself in front of the camera. It wasn’t until Marvel’s Black Panther: Wakanda Forever was filming on the MIT campus that a friend nudged her to try acting. That seed planted during college has now blossomed into a full-on creative life in LA—auditions, side hustles, and stories that matter.
