We're taught from a very young age that our social acceptance depends on being liked. However, the patriarchy assumes women will always want to be liked, so it relies on that desire to keep us compliant & constantly seeking social approval.

The thing is, most people don't even like themselves. So who cares if they don't like you. Besides, you're in a much better position to get what you want from the world when you don't give two hoots what others think.
