Pain is compulsory and suffering is optional with Alex McEleney

In this episode Alex shares his own experience with Lukemia to raise awareness and support for children and adults living with cancer and their families.

Alex has faced leukemia 4 times since the age of 11, yet he carries himself with a strength and outlook on life that would literally blow you way.

Through his journey, he has found a deep hope,faith and connection with the angels.

He has a powrful message that while pain is compulsory, suffering is optional.

His outlook on life is filled with hope, faith, and the kind of quiet courage that shows what it truly means to be brave. He also is constanly thinking of others and has such high emotional intelligence and empathy.

Alex refuses to let leukemia define or limit him, choosing instead to live fully and inspire others by his resilience. He reminds everyone that we never truly know the battles another person is fighting, which is why kindness should always come first. Alex’s story is not just one of endurance, but of extraordinary healing, lovue, faith and hope.
