The Digital Lawyer: EU Cyber Resilience Regulations

The Digital Lawyer: EU Cyber Resilience Regulations

Welcome to "The Digital Lawyer," our latest podcast series created to help businesses navigate the complexities of the ever-evolving digital landscape.

In this 11-part series, we explore the impact and challenges of recent and upcoming legislation across the UK and EU. Each episode brings you insights from our experts to help you stay ahead in the digital world.

In the sixth episode our host Charlie Maurice, who leads the technology sector group at Stevens & Bolton, is joined by Beverley Flynn, Head of Data Protection, and Rachel Wright, an Associate in our commercial and IT team, to discuss the EU Cyber Resilience Act (the “Act”), which is an EU regulation setting out cybersecurity requirements for Products with Digital Elements (“PDEs”) on the European Union market. The Act has been approved by the European Parliament and is waiting to be formally adopted by the European Council. This 7 minute podcast covers: * The aim of the Act; * What Products with Digital Elements (“PDEs”) are; * How the Act will impact manufacturers, importers, and distributors of PDEs; * How the Act will impact UK businesses.
