Nicole Green and Animalearn: Providing Classroom Alternatives to Animal Dissection

Nicole Green is the Director of Animalearn, a humane science education program of the American Anti-Vivisection Society (AAVS) located in Jenkintown, PA. Nicole has worked for AAVS for over 20 years, helping to enlighten educators, students, and other concerned individuals about the harmful use of animals in education. Animalearn promotes solutions to animal use in the classroom through its free alternative to dissection loan program called The Science Bank, which is celebrating its 25th anniversary. Nicole has traveled far and wide, and virtually, to numerous science and technology education focused venues to make educators and others aware of the many innovative non-animal methods that exist today to replace animal specimens in classrooms.
