She realized that if she can make that much money for someone else, then she can also do it for herself which led her to journey of entrepreneurship. Also, her former boss believed in Kate's capabilities which also increased her confidence.

Kate realized that once she is able to figure out the blueprint to running a successful business, she can use that blueprint to replicate in other business ventures.
