This week, an Israeli strike targeted Hamas leaders in Qatar as they discussed the latest proposal to end the war in Gaza. As Israel pursues a full-scale invasion of Gaza City, those covering it on the ground face ever greater danger. Since October 7th, the CPJ counts at least 189 Palestinian journalists killed in Gaza.
