183. Little Girls Lost: The Lyon Sisters

183. Little Girls Lost: The Lyon Sisters

It is a parent’s worst nightmare. The abduction of a child is more than traumatic but what if two of your children simply disappeared. That is precisely what happened on March 25, 1975, when 12-year-old Sheila Lyon and her little sister, 10-year-old Katherine departed from their home to walk ½ mile to the local shopping mall in Wheaton, Maryland, a suburb of Washington, DC. The girls made it to the mall but never made it home, they would never be seen again. This case has many twists and turns, but a dogged investigator and his team refused to give up. This is the story of The Lyon Sisters.
