Action Surge Episode 28

This week on Action Surge: neigh means neigh.

We kick things off with a quick reflection on the episode that saw Dolly temporarily hoofing it back to the battle, because when the plan falls apart, sometimes four legs really are better than two

The Gloam might say anyone can put on a cloak, but infiltrating their ranks? That’s another story. We reflect on the fight, the messiness, and the distinct lack of a plan that got us there. Honestly, no notes.

Harry shares what it’s like prepping for this sandbox chapter of the campaign, including the unique joy of trying to anticipate every possible route, decision, and chaotic left turn. Spoiler: it involves keeping Crafted Campaigns on speed dial.

There’s also a little breathing room this episode, some sun, some levity, and some wonderful Kelnys content. Is this our favourite version of Kel yet? Or maybe it’s drunk Kel? Possibly hungry Kel? We’ll take them all, thanks.

We dive into a deeper discussion about Somnium, how Harry and Doug worked together to keep the experience informed but still surprising, and why that one little mushroom is giving the party more than a little cause for concern.

And finally, we chat alignment. Who likes it? Who doesn’t? And why it might be time we all embraced a little moral flexibility.
